International Relations is a key pillar of the MIT School of Distance Education (MITSDE), providing students with a global platform to pursue further education and professional growth. Our objective is to offer students international exposure by facilitating participation in the International Summer Internship Program (ISIP) at prestigious foreign universities in the USA, UK, Europe, Malaysia, and beyond.
MITSDE has established strategic collaborations with renowned international institutions, enabling students to explore opportunities for higher education. These partnerships also provide avenues for students to engage in international seminars, conferences, and workshops, enriching their academic experience.
To support students in their pursuit of global education, MITSDE conducts specialised training programs, equipping them with the skills and knowledge required for success abroad. Additionally, we provide comprehensive guidance and assistance for further education opportunities. By staying updated on global education trends through participation in national and international events, we ensure that our students receive the best possible exposure and support for their academic and professional journeys.
Objective:
- To give our learners exposure to the multi-cultural and global educational environment during their Undergraduate studies by way of sending them for the International Summer Internship Program (ISIP) to foreign universities in the USA, UK, Europe, Malaysia, etc.
- To provide a platform to explore opportunities for further education abroad for their Master and PhD studies.
- To attend various international seminars, conferences and workshops.

Our International Summer Internship Program (ISIP) is designed to provide international students with valuable professional experience and exposure to global business and management practices. International Tour Registration Process
Students enrolled in eligible courses and semesters at MITSDE, with a valid passport and a strong interest in global exposure, are eligible to apply.
Yes. A valid passport with at least six months of validity from the date of travel is compulsory for participation.
MITSDE, in collaboration with authorized partners, assists with visa documentation, submission, and coordination to ensure smooth processing.
The fee generally covers airfare, visa processing, accommodation, meals, insurance, local transportation, academic or corporate visits, and entry tickets (where applicable). Detailed inclusions are shared during program orientation.
Yes. Personal expenses such as shopping, optional tours, additional meals outside the itinerary, and incidental expenses are not covered.
Yes. A mandatory orientation session will be conducted to brief students on the itinerary, travel protocols, safety guidelines, cultural etiquette, and FAQs.
Yes. Students will receive an official certificate upon successful completion of the international program, enhancing their academic and professional profiles.
Students are covered under comprehensive travel insurance. MITSDE faculty and travel coordinators will provide 24/7 on-ground support throughout the program.
No. Participants are required to adhere to the official itinerary and return with the group unless prior written approval is obtained under exceptional circumstances.

Selection is based on eligibility criteria, timely registration, document verification, and available program capacity. Seats are allotted on a first-come, first-served basis.
